We’re back at it with Back to School with Walmart…. on today’s blog post I’m going to do a quick run down on some easy snack ideas + some cute lunch box options.
Riley’s always been picky when it comes to food, so I’m forever trying to figure out some new things for her to eat since sister lives for snacking.
Lately, life’s been crazy busy, so I love that Walmart has free 2 day shipping (if it’s over $35), or that I can schedule through the pick up service. Both options make life easier, but with their amazingly low prices.. Walmart is always my one stop shop.
Before we get into easy snack ideas, I wanted to show yall some cute backpacks + lunch boxes I found! Riley was ecstatic hers came with a water bottle, and lets just say.. the child hasn’t put it down since she got it.
This cutie has been hooked on water since she was little, so throwing a juice box in her lunchbox isn’t an option. Needless to say, we love that this one came with a water bottle and that it’s big enough to hold a lot of water.
I also found some lunchbox essentials if you’re still on the hunt.
Now let’s talk snacks… Riley’s favorite subject. When it comes to snacks, I let Riley pick what she wants for the most part, but I try to limit the junk. She loves fruits, peanut butter, almonds and cheese.. but she also loves sweets and chips, so I try to balance it out.
I picked up these easy to open containers that are prefect for portion control + come in cute bright colors.
Riley’s favorite snacks….
Apple slices with Peanut Butter
Yogurt with Blueberries
Almonds with Dark Chocolate Chips
Rice Cake with PB + Nutella
String Cheese
Goldfish
Fruit Salad- Strawberries, Blueberries, Grapes
Orange
Cheerios
Prunes- John has her hooked on these
I hope this helps with some back to school snack idea’s. Lately, I feel like I’m always drawing a blank when it comes to new snack ideas, so I’d love to hear some of your favorite snacks for your kids.
xoxo-Lauren
