We’re half way through February, and all I can think about is Spring… so I thought I’d share some recent buys. Below, I’ll list all sizing and my honest opinion on each item.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me!
This fun bodysuit is the perfect spring top! I got it in a small.. but should have sized up to a medium. The jeans I got in my normal size 4 regular and the length was perfect for my 5’2 frame. The shoes are old from Target, so I wasn’t able to link them.
As far as the bag goes, it was a splurge from last year and I absolutely love it. I carried it so much over the spring/summer. At the bottom of this post, I will post some cheaper options.
Free People Dress
I’ve been eyeing this Free People dress for a while and I finally went for it. I ordered a small, but if you saw my Instagram stories, you know that it was a little big. I’ll send this one back and order a xsmall.
Which I still think will be plenty “oversized”.
This will be so cute either dressed up or down… I plan on wearing it with either sandals or converse.
If you want a cheaper option, I found this one.
BP Dress
This BP dress was a NO for me. I got it in a small, but it runs really small + it shows way too much cleavage for my liking. I loved the stripes, but it was a hard no on the fit.
Stripe Tee
This outfit screams spring!! My bag is sold out, but I’ve linked similar ones… they’ll probably sell out soon, so run people!!! But for the jeans, they’re the same as above.. size 4. The jean jacket is from last year but still in stock.. wearing a xsmall.
This isn’t the same top, I can’t find it on the Nordstrom website. I linked a similar one, that’s much cheaper!
LOVING these Lisi Lerch earrings!! Pale pink is what I live for in the spring, so get ready to see these on repeat for a while!
Amazon Dress
Amazon is KILLING it in the dress department and I’m HERE FOR IT!
This brand runs small, so I sized up to a medium! It would be perfect for a bump + any breastfeeding Mama’s!
These earrings are another favorite from last year that go with just about everything!
My shoes run TTS- wearing my normal size 7!
Second Amazon Dress
I went with a medium with this one as well, and it’s a little longer than the other one! Same brand, different style. I will say that I probably need a slip under this one, because you can see a little skin from the button separation on the stomach + chest.
This one was $44, (almost double the price from the dress above) so I probably wouldn’t buy it again, and just stick to the cheaper styles. Below I’ll list some more options.
Shopbop Dress
I saved the best for last! This dress is my FAVORITE! I wanted it last year, but had so much stuff to buy for the blog, so I passed… but this year I decided it was time. It’s a bit of a splurge, but I think it will be on sale SOON + I know it will be something I keep wearing over the next several years. I got it in a small/medium!
I’m also going to give you some cheaper options for some adorable earrings + bags for the spring/summer! These will probably go fast since the price is really good… so if you see something you want, I wouldn’t wait!
That’s it for todays try on’s! I hope to get back in the swing of doing more of these!
Make sure you follow me on Instagram + watch my stories so you can see what all my finds look like in person!
