You guys voted on Instagram that you wanted a Christmas Margarita recipe…and I have the perfect one for you! It’s a little tart…while mostly sweet, but sure to be a crowd pleaser at your next get together!
Ingredients
-Salt for the rim
– 2 ounces of Grand Marnier (optional… I prefer it without, but some like it with)
– 1.5 ounce of tequila
– 2 ounces of Pink Cranberry Juice (basically its white + red cranberry juice mixed together… but you can use any cranberry juice. I bet cran-apple would be good, too!)
– 2 ounces of fresh squeezed lime juice
– 1 ounce of simple syrup
– Lime + Cranberries for garnish (toss in some Rosemary if you want to be fancy!)
Directions
Rim each glass with a lime wedge + dip it in the coarse salt. Fill each glass with ice… I used a cute ice tray for mine.
In a cocktail shaker, add all the ingredients and shake well! Pour over ice + add garnishes.
Enjoy!
(if you don’t have any simple syrup on hand, just boil 1/2 cup of water + 1/2 cup of sugar… and you’re good to go!)
