Can you guys believe Mother’s Day is almost here? Shew… time lately is flying by. If you’re like me, and have a hard time figuring out what to buy your Mama or what to ask for yourself… don’t you worry! I did all the stress for you! ha!
Seriously, it took me forever to come up with this stuff!
I’ve put together my ultimate “wish list” of things I would love to have for Mother’s Day. Hunny, if you’re reading this… take notes! I tried to find things in every price range, so this guide would be helpful to everyone!
So let’s get started!
Philosophy Amazing Grace is one of my favorite scents. The smell is not overpowering + it’s always a safe bet if you don’t know what fragrance someone likes.
Vince Camuto pink heels. These adorable heels have been calling my name lately. Aren’t they so cute!?
LED Vanity Mirror. This mirror has been talked about by so many beauty bloggers! I’m dying to see what all the hype’s about.
Sole Society makes the best handbags; at a very affordable price. They always have a high-end look + hold up extremely well. This lovely bag would go with everything, too!
Estee Lauder Night Repair. This one’s a splurge, but it’s one I like to buy when I’m feeling like my face needs a little pick me up! It hydrates your skin + gives you a radiant glow! yes, please!
Hourglass Bronzer. I’ve heard nothing but great things about this brand. I’ve yet to try anything, but I’m almost out of bronzer, so this seems like the perfect fit!
If you ever want to spoil yourself, anything from Laura Mercier’s bath line is absolutely amazing! If you’re a bath person, like me… this stuff is a must.
Tory Burch Bag. Do I even need to write a caption for this? Stunning, right? Def a splurge, but holy moly, it’s a beauty!
Does Kate Spade make a bad bag? The answer is NO! The price is always great for the quality of her bags!
Sole Society Fringe Sandals. I mean, how cute are these? The fringe + the pom poms… so adorable!
So there you have it, my ultimate Mother’s Day Gift Guide! I hope you found something you can add to your wish list, or something helpful to buy for someone special.
On a serious note, I want to acknowledge that I know Mother’s Day isn’t always a happy day for some people. If you’re one of these people, I’m truly sorry. It makes me so sad knowing there’s so many people out there hurting, especially around this time of year. I’ve had my share of heartbreaking Mother’s Days, so I know its rough.
If I’m being completely honest, sometimes they’re still kinda hard.
If you’ve followed along for a while, or read my 25 Things About Me post, you know I struggled staying pregnant with each of my four pregnancies. Three out of four resulted in miscarriages; my first one being a couple of days before Mother’s Day & and my second miscarriage (years later) taking place a couple of days after Mother’s Day.
And if you’re wondering how good my luck really is… my third miscarriage was on my 28th Birthday!
My point for all of this is, if you’re going through a rough time when this day comes around, please know that you’re not alone. I know this is a Lifestyle + Fashion Blog, but we’re all REAL people, just trying to get through REAL things life constantly throws at us.
All of this heartache has molded me into the person I am today + taught me to never wish my life was any different or like anyone else. If you can’t say that about your own life, that’s ok. I promise one day, you’ll get there. Believe me when I say, it took me a long time to get here and it def wasn’t easy.
So to anyone who’s reading this, and not looking forward to this day, I pray that you have some peace and know that there’s happier days ahead.
xoxo- Lauren
