With Valentine’s Day right around the corner + pink being my new obsession, I figured it was time for a Valentine’s Day Gift Idea, post. Here’s a quick rundown of some of my favorite staple pieces + some things I wouldn’t mind owning. Hunny, if you’re reading this…. take notes!
If you’ve followed me the past couple of months, you know that my love for PINK runs deeps. I tend to buy more of the pale pinks, but don’t discriminate against any shade. I just think pink is the prettiest color + it makes me really happy! Cliche, I know!
We’ve got a lot to cover, so let’s get started!
Monogram necklace– I get so many questions on this monogram necklace. It’s one of my favorite staple pieces + would make the perfect Valentine’s Day gift. It’s a little pricey, but worth every penny. I got the size 4XL in a 18″ chain length and can’t say enough good things about this necklace.
Kendra Scott Earrings– These earrings are to die for! I just picked them up at my favorite local boutique, Bevello! If you don’t have one near you, you can order these online and get 20% off with this code:BVELAURENH. Feel free to look around and shop the website. This code is good for your entire purchase from now until the end of February.
YSL Lipstick– I honestly don’t have to sell this lipstick, because it sells itself. It’s a splurge for lipstick, but the perfect treat for Valentine’s Day! It comes in so many shades, too!
Quay Pink Sunnies– I just purchased these a couple of weeks ago, and they’re so fun. It took me awhile to find them, since they’re sold out almost everywhere. So if you want to rock these shades all spring/summer, now’s the time to get them!
BP Pale Pink Clutch– BP nailed it with this clutch. I have so many outfits planned to go with this, this spring/summer. The price isn’t bad, either. It’s from one of my favorite brands at Nordstrom, and only cost $25. I’m calling that a win!
Marc Fisher Pink Wedges– Yall!! These shoes are currently sold out, but you better believe I’ll be begging the hubs for them when they’re restocked! I just LOVE them!!! The perfect shade for spring/summer!
Bubblegum Pink Lisi Lerch Tassles- These earrings are just beautiful! They’re on the higher end, but Lisi Lerch earrings are my favorite. This brand is always my go to for statement earrings!
Pale Pink Longchamp Bag– I mean how cute is this bag? Perfect for running errands or Sunday strolls at the Market. I don’t own this, but I wouldn’t mind having it!
Makeup Color Tory Burch Sandals– This is probably what I’ll ask for, for Valentine’s Day. I own the tan ones, but they’re on their last leg. These are a bit of a splurge, but they’re the most comfortable sandals you’ll ever own. And they go with everything! My current pair has lasted 4 years, so they’re defiantly worth the money! I’m going to have to buy them sooner or later, so I figured why not get them as a “gift.”
Kate Spade Watch– This is my go to watch. I love that it has both, gold + silver. Although, I’m not much of a silver jewelry girl…. but since my wedding set is silver (only because 13 years ago, silver was in), I like to have my jewelry go together. I feel like you can’t go wrong with Kate Spade watches, and the price is always good for this brand.
Pink Marc Jacobs Purfume– This is one of my favorite perfumes. It’s very light and my husband doesn’t get annoyed with it. HA! I can’t tell you how many perfumes he’s hated!
Sequined Pink Baublebar Earrings– I don’t own these, but OMG they’re top on my “purchase list.” I mean… how cute are they? Talk about a statement earring!!! They’re HUGE… but I love them!
I hope this helps with your Valentine’s Day gift ideas. Truthfully, we tend to not go crazy on Valentine’s Day. And if I’m being completely honest, there were many years in the beginning that a “Happy Valentine’s Day” followed with a hug and a kiss, was all we could afford. So, if you find yourself in this spot… just try to embrace it.
Valentine’s Day isn’t about the gifts! John and I got married really young… like I just turned 21 years old when we got married… so we did the kiss + hug thing for years! We truthfully just got to the point in our lives (almost 13 years later) where we actually can afford to celebrate with gifts every now and then. I just try to be smart about holiday purchases. We never go overboard and buy new clothes or book fancy dinners. I’m more of a sweats + take out kind of girl. It’s also a bonus if both girls are home and we get to celebrate as a family!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!
xoxo- Lauren
