If you’ve followed me on Instagram for a while, you know that I’ve counted down the days for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! PTL it’s almost here, I couldn’t be more excited! If you know me at all, you know that I live for a good sale!
Don’t worry if you’re new to the sale, I’ll make sure to cover all the bases for you. If you’re a pro, you definitely know what to expect and I’m sure you’re just as excited as I am.
Early Access begins July 12th at 12:01 AM PST.
Early Access means ONLY Nordstrom cardholders can shop the sale during this time (July 12-19th)
Is it worth it to get the credit card now so you can shop the sale early? I say, yes. I got the Nordstrom DEBIT card years ago when they still had it, so I could shop the sale early without getting the credit card.
If you’re new here… we don’t do credit cards in the Holifield house. We live by the motto, “If you can’t pay cash for the item, you don’t need it”
If you’re someone who does use credit cards, you can sign up here, and shop the sale early! Anyone can view the sale during early access, card or no card, you just wont be able to buy anything for the sale price.
Sale opens up to the public July 20th at 12:01 AM PST.
If you end up not getting the Nordstrom card, this is your time to shop! You will want to do it ASAP, because things will sale out fast (if they already haven’t). They might not restock the item you want in your size or color of choice. With that being said, things tend to sell out fast during early access.. but don’t fret, they will more than likely restock the item when it opens to the public.
Sneaky, I know… but I’m just keeping it real!
Sale will end on August 5th at 11:50 PM PST.
This means, everything will go back to full price when the sale is over.
Questions– I asked you guys on Instagram to give me some questions you had on the sale, so I could answer them in this post… here’s some that were asked.
Q: What will actually be on sale?
A: Nordstrom will send out a catalog about a week or so before the sale to kind of give you an idea of some things that will be included. That being said, late Summer items, new Fall + Winter items are always what the sale consist of… but at GREAT prices! Make sure to continue to check my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale tab on the blog + my Instagram stories over the next couple of weeks. I plan to update what’s included as it comes in.
Q: What are some perks of being a Nordstrom Cardholder?
A: Nordstrom has a ton of perks! Early Access to the Anniversary Sale, a credited $40 bonus note when you make your first purchase with your Nordstrom card, 24/7 customer service, no annual fee, 2 points per dollar spent with Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Trunk Club, or HauteLook + many more benefits you can find here.
Q: What do you tend to buy at the Nordstrom Sale?
A: This is honestly different every year. However, I always make sure to get a couple of pair of Zella leggings, a fun piece from Kendra Scott, a new pair of tennis shoes, and then I splurge on something I normally wouldn’t buy. This year I think I want a new Tory Burch bag, but we shall see!
Q: How do I shop the sale?
A: That’s a good question! You can def just go to the Nordstrom website and shop it there. Sadly, I wont get any credit for your purchase, and it will make all my hard work basically be for nothing. I know that’s a blunt statement, but it’s the truth. Blog post + Instagram post/stories take a long time to create, as well as linking all the items influencers find for their readers. When you use our links, it allows us to continue to bring you content to shop + helps us get a tiny bit of commission for all our long hard hours of work. Here’s some ways to shop my links, if you want to help support me and my business….
-Follow me on Instagram and make sure you watch my stories for items I’m loving from the sale. I’ll have the swipe up feature on all the items I talk about and it will take you directly to the item.
-Follow me in the LiketoKnowIt App, I’ll be posting items in there often.
-Come back to this blog post and click on any of the words in pink. It will take you straight to the sale.
Some people have asked how they can make sure I get credit if they’re shopping in the store. Which is a great question because I had to ask my fellow bloggers to get the answer! ha! Their answer, you can order the item you want and select to pick it up in the store. This is actually pretty smart if you don’t want to fight the crazy shoppers. You can even do this while you’re in the store, trying on the items.
This is honestly a little overboard to me, and I will totally understand if you don’t want to do this. However, I would really appreciate it if you shop online, to please use my links.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you still might have about the sale. We don’t have a Nordstrom where I live, but there is one a couple hours from me. I’ve thought about driving up to Nashville to do a try on session, but I’m still undecided.
I hope everyone has a great weekend! Don’t forget to check back as it gets closer to the sale for all the updates! If you watched my stories last weekend on the kitchen wall reno, we’re finally getting around to painting it this weekend! Look for a blog post all about it, soon!
